About me
Sara Birkhead is the PreK-6 Mathematics Coordinator for Manassas City Public Schools, where she oversees mathematics curriculum, assessment, and professional learning across seven schools. Sara has taught grades 3 through 8 and several college courses in mathematics content and pedagogy. She holds a doctoral degree in Mathematics Education Leadership, with her research centered on professional development that empowers mathematics teachers to implement student-centered instruction.
