About me
I am currently a gifted education resource teacher with experience supporting educators and students in designing learning experiences that emphasize critical thinking, creativity, and authentic engagement. Throughout my career, I have focused on instructional practices that challenge learners while remaining accessible and equitable. I have also taught mathematics and science across K–12 and college-level settings and have held a range of instructional and leadership roles, including Science Department Chair, Math CLT Lead Teacher, and Middle School Science Fair Coordinator. My recent work centers on designing and modeling classroom practices that position AI as a thinking partner that strengthens critical thinking, reflection, and academic integrity, and supports educators in moving from curiosity about AI to confident implementation. I believe these emerging tools, when used thoughtfully, enhance learning rather than replace it.
